Some magazine make appointment with me to talk about how can Made-In-China develop into China Brand. My answer will make you scary at first glance. My answer is that Made-In-China itself can not develop into China brand. Many people simply think that as long as we improve quality of Made-In-China products, and expand the market, Made-In-China will gradually create Chinese own brand. That is our illusion. You carry on Made-In-China, make better quality of the products, is but the more advanced and superior Made-In-China products. It is not China brand. We can not complete the industrial transformation from Made-In-China to China brand with the cost of sacrificing manufacturing industry. Large economies such as China, not only become the brand power country, but also maintain the position of our manufacturing industry. Take United States as an example, many people think U.S.A rely on services industries i.e. information, financing etc. its economy has been hollowed out.
